Program Information:
- This program is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to work on a bachelor's degree in journalism or communication.
- Develops critical thinking needed to analyze the history and role of the media in a democracy.
- Develops the skills involved with recognizing, gathering, writing and editing news in a fair, balanced and accurate manner.
