Program Information:
- This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively assist in the classroom instruction of K-12 students.
- Program meets requirements for paraprofessional educators in Title I school districts as established by the No Child Left Behind legislation.
- Not designed for complete transfer into a baccalaureate teacher preparation program.
- Up to 16 hours of credit can be granted through the Prior Experience Portfolio Process. Contact the Education office for details.
- EDU 201 includes 30 hours of pre-clinical observation.
- This applied science program of study must be taken in its entirety to meet degree requirements.
